+History+

From the very beginning, Gillian harbored knowledge like a child with candy. She loved knowing everything about everything and everyone, and didn’t much like sharing that knowledge. She just picked it up from wherever she could and kept it to herself, filing it away somewhere in her head. With that in mind, no one was surprised when she joined Léir when the time came.

Since joining the House, she’s realized just how amazing the humanoid mind is. Gillian has gone through great lengths to expand her own knowledge of it, including what one can do with it. She’d always been a teacher in the House, willing to share that particular knowledge with those wanting to learn. With nothing stopping her or hindering her process, she felt her own House was quite probably the best. Until she met Nathaen Frost.

Her first love, Gillian couldn’t say exactly when it happened, but she fell hard and fast for him. He seemed to share the feelings, and enjoyed her take on the mind and what it could do. They were together for almost ten passes when she bore him twin sons, and he was a proud father. But he’d become a distant husband, and it didn’t take Gillian long before she realized his eye had wandered. Far and long, and her heart broke with the thoughts she read in his mind. Their relationship came to a quick end after that, with her mainly scooping up her sons and leaving him behind one night when he was out with a new “friend,” and she became a bit of a recluse.

The knowledge that she’d read his thoughts through her House abilities put a bit of a damper on just knowing it was possible to do that. She wasn’t quite as excited about it anymore, and only her sons and the new mind twister program she came out with, Mind Quests, helped keep her happy during that time. Her enochlophobia also came into being then, and has lasted since.

Then the war struck, knocking her House leader down, and Gillian had little choice but to take over. She still loves her House and all it has to offer, and it was her pleasure to step into the role. She took over the running of The Third Eye and has relocated there, since her sons have long grown and moved on with their lives. To this day, she’s often found roaming the halls of the Eye and helping her House get back in order.
